Swim Team

Brookhaven Swim Team will be competing in the Delco Swim League. The league website is http://www.delcoswimmingdivingleague.com. From there you will find much information regarding varsity meets (Saturday mornings) and JV meets (Wednesday evenings). We encourage everyone to read the rules for the league on the site.

All children are invited to join the swim team. Young swimmers must be able to swim one length of the pool (25 meters) without stopping. Test laps will be performed for any swimmer that the head coach deems necessary to ensure ability to complete one lap of freestyle before joining team. If you have any questions, please contact the head coach via email. 

REGISTRATION INFORMATION: 

Each family is required to pay a fee of $50 for each initial child and $20 for each additional child. Payment and registration form can be turned into the Swim Team Representative or sent in along with your pool membership. All registration fees collected will be used for swim team expenses, supplies, equipment, etc. 

**Parents please note: All swim club dues & registration fee for swim team must be paid before any child/children can participate in swim team practice.**

Varsity Meets: Saturday mornings @9:30am (report time @8:30am) 

JV Meets: Wednesday evenings @6:30 pm (report time @5:30 pm) 

Swim Suit Fitting: Tuesday June 6th @5:00 – 5:30 for all 12&O and 5:30 – 6:00 for all 10&U

Team Pictures: Wednesday June 28th (rain date June 29th)

Ice Cream Party: Wednesday June 28th (immediately following team pictures)

Team Pasta Party: Friday before last home meet @ 6:00 (swim club pavilion)

 End of Season Banquet: Thursday, 7/27 @ 7:00 (swim club pavilion)

*Regular Season practices run - Monday thru Friday starting 6/19- 7/21.  Champs participants practice 7/24-7/28.
